Survey3 PRO Housing

Housing Only. No Survey3 Camera Included.

Survey3 PRO is a Survey3 multispectral camera inside an industrial IP67 waterproof housing containing our Advanced V2 GNSS (uBlox MAX-M10S) GPS Receiver. It is available in 6 filter options: RGB, OCN, RGN, NGB, RE, NIR. Each of the 2 lens options are offered in a fixed infinity focus or with an adjustable manual focus wheel. The Survey3 PRO can be purchased with a Survey3 camera pre-installed (choose camera model above) or you can install your existing Survey3 camera into the Survey3 PRO housing.

An industrial m12 cable connection provides power and signal control. An external uSD memory card port allows you to access captured media without opening the housing. The rear door can be opened to reveal 2 switches which control power and GNSS (GPS) source (internal vs external). The Survey3 camera's rear LCD touchscreen is also accessible with the rear door open. The rear door can be easily removed if waterproofing is not needed.

Easily view the live video over WIFI, remotely trigger image capture, adjust camera settings and extract captured media using our free Android application Survey3 Control Application.

Main Features:

Survey3 PRO Cable Options:

All Survey3 PRO cameras contain a 6 position (pin) m12 industrial IP67 male (M) plug. The port on the camera is male (M) and the connecting cable is female (F). The Survey3 PRO is designed to be connected to external power, it is not intended to be used on its own.

We offer a few variations of Survey3 PRO cables to complement your configuration:

Use this m12 female (F) cable to connect directly to our DAQ-A. Power must be supplied to the DAQ-A at its side USB micro port. This is known as a "Power to Camera" DAQ-A cable.

m12(F) to USB (PWR) + TRIG + EXP

Use this m12 female (F) cable to connect to USB (A) power and standard servo PWM trigger and relay exposure pulse connections. The GNSS (GPS) wire is available and does not have a connector installed.

m12(F) to Wires

Use this m12 female (F) cable to make your own custom cables.

m12(F) to m12(M)

Use this m12 female (F) to m12 male (M) cable to connect to other pin compatible m12 systems.

Survey3 Camera Installation Instructions:

If your Survey3 camera has the Manual Lens Focus Wheel installed then remove the default lens surround spacer by rotating it counterclockwise and pulling it out:

To install the (optional) desiccant packet pull the shelf down and push the packet into the cavity. You can route the GNSS (GPS) wires under the back of the shelf to help get them out of the way.

Plug the cables from the Survey3 PRO housing into the camera. The USB with the green wire is the GNSS (GPS) plug.

Tilt the camera down to clear the top lip, notch the camera pull tab into the slot on the bottom and push it into the housing. As you push it in, make sure no wires are pulled inward.

Push the cables inward and away from the camera to make room for the Switch Door. Once the cables are out of the way reinstall the Switch Door by holding the tab until it is seated correctly. You may need to wiggle the tab on the Switch Door until it clicks into place.

The Survey3 camera is now installed into the PRO housing:

Test all functions to make sure everything is working correctly.
